Your only responsibility for this flight will be to pay the airline at the time of check-in on the morning of Day 1 of our tour. (Cost is roughly $550).

ITINERARY
Arrive in Anchorage at least one day before the commencement of our extraordinary wildlife photography tour. Settle into your local accommodation, ensuring you’re well-rested for the exciting journey ahead. By arriving a day early, you won’t risk missing our early morning flight to the lodge on Day 1 of our tour.

Join us at Merrill Field in Anchorage between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM for our meet-up. Sign in for our 8:00 AM chartered flight to our outfitter’s location in coastal Alaska. Upon landing, change into fishing waders and gather your photography gear for our first shoot. Lunch, provided by our lodge and outfitting partners, awaits. Weather permitting, board small bush planes for our inaugural bear photography session while non-photography luggage is shuttled to the lodge. Spend the afternoon and evening capturing awe-inspiring moments with the region’s majestic bears.
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of brown bears during the heart of our adventure. Our focus is on capturing amazing brown bear behaviors, from cute cubs learning to fish from their mothers to big boars running down bright red sockeye salmon. Daily fly-outs take us to various locations for extended photography sessions, providing a unique opportunity to witness and document these incredible creatures in diverse settings. Expect an immersive and rich wildlife photography experience, capturing moments that tell the story of the fascinating lives of Alaska’s brown bears.
Departure day marks the conclusion of our unforgettable journey. Enjoy coffee, tea, and breakfast at the usual times. After breakfast, pack your belongings for our bush flight back to the outfitter’s location. Change out of waders and relax in the waiting room at our small village airport as we await our flight back to Anchorage. Upon return, bid farewell, cherishing the memories, and look forward to our next adventure together.
